Sanitation Information

- Garbage must be contained in a receptacle with a capacity of greater than 20 gallons but less than 35 gallons, constructed of plastic, metal or fiberglass with handles and covers. The weight of a container and its contents shall not exceed 60 pounds.
- Trash should also be in plastic sacks designed to store refuse with sufficient wall strength to maintain physical integrity when lifted by the top. total weight of a bag and its contents shall not exceed 35 pounds.
- Trash receptacles must be placed curbside on the evening prior to the day of collection
- Collection is made on a weekly basis.

Latex
Latex paint is not hazardous. To dispose of it, pop the cap and let it dry out. Once it is totally dry it can be discarded in the regular trash. Latex in liquid form is not acceptable because the cans open in the compactor.
