Glass - clear, green and brown glass bottles and jars.
Plastic - only containers with #1 or #2 in the triangle on the bottom.
Metal - aluminum and tin cans.
Newspaper - must be flat, clean and tied with string or in a brown paper bag and placed on top of the blue bin.
Junk Mail and Magazines - are now acceptable mixed in with your newspaper in your blue bin.
Corrugated Cardboard must be flattened, cut into no longer than 3ft squares and bundled and fastened with cord for convenient handling.
All items must be rinsed and clean, discard all caps in regular trash. Discard broken glass to avoid injury to handlers. Plastics bags are not blue bin recyclable. They jam the equipment at the recycling plant.
