GROUP: Board of Education – Training for Board Members by CABE (Connecticut Association of Boards of Education)
- The Community Garden Committee is compiling a list of people interested in having a garden plot this summer. Adding your name to the list is not an obligation, but will hold your place in the garden should you choose to rent a plot (the fee will be around $20). The list of interested people will also be used to demonstrate a need for such a garden.

- Safe Sitter Class
The Shelton Youth Service Bureau will offer a Safe Sitter Babysitting
Class for youth ages 11-13. The class will be held at the Echo Hose
Ambulance Training Center
286 Howe Ave, Shelton
Friday, February 19th, 10:00am – 3:00pm.
The cost of the course is $50.00 and will cover all materials needed for the class.
The Safe Sitter is a 5-hour curriculum designed for busy schedules. It includes Babysitting as a Business, Success on the Job, Child Care Essentials, Preventing Problem Behavior and basic First Aid information and Infant/Child CPR.
